The Tragic Case Of Caylee Anthony’s Murder

The disappearance and death of toddler Caylee Anthony captivated the nation when her young mother was put on trial for killing the two-year-old. Little did her parents know what horrible thing happened to their precious grandchild.

While one would think that a mother would be extremely horrified that their daughter was missing, this couldn’t be further from the truth for Casey Anthony. Casey seemed to be rather blasé about the entire debacle, almost as though she was unconcerned about her disappearance. Caylee’s grandparents took care of their young granddaughter often and they became extremely alarmed when they hadn’t seen her. Casey repeatedly dodged her parent’s requests. Instead, she came up with various bizarre stories, telling them she was too busy at her job in Tampa, Florida, or claiming that Caylee was out and about with her nanny, Zenaida “Zanny” Fernandez-Gonzalez at the beach or a theme park.
