Singer Nick Lachey and former VJ and actress Vanessa Minnillo Lachey have been married for a while but the moment all started back in November of 2010. Nick took Vanessa on an intimate date at a Laguna Beach hotel. Vanessa recounted to People, “We did a tasting menu the night he proposed to me.” She thought the evening was a little bit pricey but soon realized what the occasion was. Vanessa said, “I was like…’This seems like a lot!’ Not only financially, but we had the wine and then the champagne and he was like, ‘Let’s treat ourselves; it’s our birthday.’” The moment occurred not long before Vanessa’s thirtieth and Nicky’s thirty-seventh birthdays.
