Wedding Fails: What Were They Thinking?!
A Rainbow Wedding
In People’s list of “Top 10 Ugliest Bridesmaid Dresses,” there’s this lovely number. The wedding photo from 1973 depicts five bridesmaids in the same dress, but all different colors. Amber, whose cousin is the one who had the wedding, said that her cousin couldn’t decide on any one color, so she went with all of them.

Although it was an indoor wedding, Amber recalls that the bride wanted the bridesmaids to wear hats. If you think about it, the bridesmaid dresses wouldn’t be all that bad if it was a themed wedding. We hope that the bride has been forgiven for making her bridesmaids run around in these dresses all day!
A Flash From The Past
Of this wonderful sequined number, Maggie tells People, “My sister has always been a big fan of the ’80s – sequins, big hair, gaudiness. She actually found shoes, purses, jewelry, and nail polish to match this thing.” It’s not like Maggie could say no to the bright blue bridesmaid dress, it was her sister getting married after all.

Luckily, Maggie was able to recycle the dress and use it as a Halloween costume, winning second place in a costume contest. But the ’80s were a great, interesting time for fashion trends, so no wonder Maggie’s sister wanted to relive it all on her big day.
