Both Ann and Elizabeth married men named “Jim,” though the two women ended up on different continents. Ann lived in her home town of Aldershot, England for the rest of her life. She became a printer and raised 3 beautiful daughters.

As you know, Elizabeth married an American Navy sailor and moved to Portland, Oregon, where she raised two sons. She also eventually moved to Albany. What becomes obvious is how amazing it was that Ann never moved from Aldershot. As Elizabeth continued to say in all the interviews, “She could be anywhere in the world.” It just happened that they were able to find each other back near where they both started.
