You’ve read about the power of twins, but you’ll be amazed by the twins who hold the Guinness World Record for finally being reunited 78 years after they were first separated. The fraternal twins, Ann Hunt (named Patricia Susan Lamb) and Elizabeth Hamel (named Elizabeth Ann Lamb), were born in Aldershot, England in 1936, but times were hard for their unmarried mother.

Alice Lamb was a domestic servant (a cook) without the money or support to be able to keep the two girls, so she made the difficult decision to give up one of the babies for adoption. She couldn’t possibly know what a convoluted journey the two would travel before reuniting 78 years later.
