Reddit user cewallace9 reminded us all, once again, to double check the product description before you buy. Apparently, this cat scratch post was intended for a dollhouse and isn’t technically a scam… but who has a dollhouse that is intricate enough that they include a cat scratch post with a small, dangling ball? No one does. If you need any more evidence that this is a scam, she paid a price relative to an actual piece of furniture, not dollhouse furniture.

Hopefully, they got their $20 back. But more importantly, hopefully, that cat got a real scratching post. It doesn’t look pleased with what its owner has presented.
