A Chat With Nastya Zhidkova

Like many of the others on our list, Nastya Zhidkova, a Moscow-born model, has albinism. She broke into modeling via Japanese anime cosplay, and eventually got work with major modeling companies around the globe. In a 2015 Facebook post, she discussed her “condition” with fans. “I am an albino. I have poor eyesight, it is not measured in diopters. I can not describe my vision. It is 8% of the 100 as I know. I have no relatives albino, my parents are dark.” Zhidkova has obviously not let any of this hold her back.
