Nikia’s beautiful freckles have been featured in a variety of television commercials, magazine spreads, and on billboards. She’s also a writer and activist. In an Allure interview, she said that her struggles when she was younger made her the strong woman she is now. “I wouldn’t change what I went through. These freckles have helped to define me. They have made me stronger. I am a black, freckled woman…and proud.”
