You can usually understand somebody’s loyalty by how they treat their favorite sports team. While sports is really supposed to unite us, for die-hards it really just divides us. Ben Affleck, being a massive sports fan, is no different.

He’s a well-known Boston Red Sox fan and while filming the movie Gone Girl, his character was supposed to wear a New York Yankees hat. Affleck couldn’t bear the thought of it so he begged the director to allow him to wear a New York Mets hat instead.
