These Family Secrets Are Terrifying

“What Did That Guy Do?”

Sometimes, a secret can come out just from a simple question. In this case, this person was 18, and simply cleaning out their grandparents’ house after their death. Then, someone dropped a picture frame and a photo fell out. The way it was placed in the frame, one guy in the photo was cut off. That is when things changed.

“I made some joke like, ‘sheesh, what did that guy do? Are we hiding him?’ And everyone looked at me with these stunned looks on their faces. Everyone just sort of changed the subject and wandered away. My parents later explained to me that he was my great uncle and he murdered his wife and tried to kill his children…who were among those standing there when I said it.” That is the definition of awkward moment!
