Not too long ago (but long enough ago to be considered “back in the day”) teen pregnancy was a regularly kept secret. Girls would get pregnant, and would either be pulled out of school and hidden away from public eye, or secretly carry the baby to term and give it up for adoption immediately following birth. But in some rarer occasions, the family would want to keep the baby and incorporate a lie into all of their lives.

And sometimes, teen pregnancy happens when something horrible occurs in the family. You get what we are saying right? Just read this account: “My whole family doesn’t think I know but my “older sister” is actually my mother. My father was my mother’s (actually grandmother) husband.” A criminal act.
