There are movies out there about horrible, abusive mothers who basically despise their children and treat them in unspeakable ways. While we watch it on movies, there are people who live that horrifically but just don’t speak of it. It is a sad truth that eventually becomes a secret. Who could imagine their mother, who is supposed to protect them and love them unconditionally, being abusive?

This story is about such unthinkable abuse. “My mother abused me my whole life, and one day I finally couldn’t take any more and told a teacher. CPS was called, and she didn’t hesitate to tell them that I had gone crazy and tried to kill my baby sister so that I looked like the crazy one. After that, nothing I said would be taken seriously. I was removed from the school in handcuffs and immediately taken to the county courthouse, where I had to face my mother in a trial. In the end, the judge realized that she was crazy and I wasn’t.”
