There aren’t a lot of rules when it comes to running in with wildlife, both in the construction world and really, the world in general. Do you run? Do you make loud noises to scare them off? I’m pretty sure we’ve all accepted that if you cross a croc, whatever you think makes sense is probably wrong and won’t even matter. It’s the crocs world. We’re just living in it.

At this point, it looks like the workers are all ready to give up on this job, refill the hole, and get back to their regular lives. No Starbucks (which is what I assume they’re building because every corner needs a Starbucks) is worth this amount of trouble.
