The relationship between Will Truman and Grace Adler was one of the most successful television series with gay principal characters. It went on to become a significant player of NBC’S Must See TV Thursday night lineup and the show was met with critical acclaim.

The show was the highest-rated sitcom among adults 18-49 from 2001 to 2005, and Will & Grace earned 16 Emmy Awards. After the cast reunited for a 10-minute special in 2016, the success of the special sparked the idea of having the show back in production. Twenty years after its debut, Will & Grace returned to the small screen for a 10th season.
