The Tragic Case Of Caylee Anthony’s Murder
Casey Is Arrested, Released on Bond
Yet another strange lie that Casey Anthony told is that she was employed somewhere she was not. It’s hard to tell why she would make up with such a lie other than to cover her own tracks. Unfortunately, investigators couldn’t force Casey to actually tell them the truth.
More on her testimony…
For several years, Casey told her parents that she worked at Universal Studios. She told the police the same lie before eventually admitting that she had been fired a few years earlier. Following her arrest, Casey was denied bail. According to the judge assigned to her case, Casey had shown “woeful disregard for the welfare of her child”. But one month later Casey was released on bond. On Oct. 14, 2008, a grand jury indicted Casey on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four counts of providing false information to police. But a body had yet to be found.
