The Tragic Case Of Caylee Anthony’s Murder

Not Enough Evidence

It seems as though defense attorney Jose Baez was truly a master at his craft. He was able to successfully sew doubt into the minds of the jurors. In the coming months, various jurors spoke publicly about their actual views on the murder.

The defense was able to make jury have enough doubt, that they were unable to issue a guilty verdict.

More about the jurors’ thoughts…

Following the verdict, one of the jurors, nursing student Jennifer Ford, told ABC News, “I did not say she was innocent” and “I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.” She added, “I’m not saying that I believe the defense,” but that “it’s easier for me logically to get from point A to point B” following the defense argument versus the prosecution’s argument. She also believed George Anthony was “dishonest” and she and her fellow jurors were sick over the not-guilty verdict.
