You must consider all possible leads so no punches were held when the cops were given the polygraph test. The Bibles are not going to rest until this case is solved officially so the cops had to do what they were summoned to do. Of course, the officers were not the main suspects but they became suspicious enough to have a lie detector test taken. More proof that just goes to show you can’t trust everybody, even the people you are supposed to trust.
