People Who Survived What Should Have Been Instant Death
Cut In Half
If there’s one thing anyone couldn’t survive, you would think it would be getting cut in half. However, Truman Duncan, a railroad switchman, beat the odds when he fell off the front of a moving train. It was like a monster that he couldn’t get away from as it kept pulling him while he was pushing away.
Duncan was dragged 75 feet, and when the train finally came to a stop, his lower body was still entangled between the train wheels. With only one leg that was still attached to a single muscle, he somehow managed to call 911. Duncan survived the ordeal, but he lost both his legs.
Are hippos really that dangerous? Ask Paul Templer — he’s got a good story about that just around the corner.
