Celebrities, Scientists, And Public Figures Are Tweeting About Their Love For Stephen Hawking

On the day that Stephen Hawking died, David Gilmour, guitarist and vocalist of Pink Floyd, tweeted out the song “Keep Talking (ft Stephen Hawking).” The song appeared on Pink Floyd’s 1994 album, The Division Bell. It was sung by Gilmour and features samples of Stephen Hawking’s electronic voice.
The sample of Hawking’s voice was taken from a BT television advertisement. Gilmour said that he cried while watching the ad and describes it as, “the most powerful piece of television advertising that I’ve ever seen in my life.” Read on for a Big Bang Theory star’s take on Hawking’s passing.
