Not a Dream

“It’s like a dream? Or what?” Meza said, still trying to wrap his mind around finding his son after so many years of searching. Robin Barton said that the huge family would take some getting used to for him. “I was raised as an only child, so this is more of a shock,” he said.

Robin, Meza, and his sisters had all agreed to spend time as a family when they could. “I want to try and talk like father and son if he says it’s okay,” said Meza. Robin Barton, gracious as always, said he was cool with that. Robin told CBS Los Angeles that he had learned to be grateful for the officer who saved him, his adopted parents, and the family who raised him.
