Shaun White has been to several Olympics. He is one of the most decorated American Olympians of all-time. Skipping one trip to the White House probably didn’t seem like a big deal to him. In today’s world, though, the public demanded that he explain himself.

According to White, he had a wedding to attend on the same day. White wasn’t the only one who had a wedding they couldn’t get out of. Chloe Kim, another snowboarder, said she also had a wedding to go to when she revealed she was not going to the White House.
