The Fiery Women of MMA, In And Out Of The Cage
The 5’3″ Warrior
Joanna Jedrzejcyk isn’t the only tiny woman who packs a powerful punch in the MMA world. Megumi Fujii, though she’s now retired, weighed in at 106 to 120 pounds during her career, but her fights were can’t miss events. She had a 22-win streak before her first lost.
Fujii specialized in submission and frequently used the Inazuma Toe Hold submission, dubbed the Megulock by fans. Fujii is also a decorated fighter outside of the mixed martial arts world and holds a black belt in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. While Fujii has left the MMA world, her unforgettable fights will live on in memory (and on YouTube).
