Women Against Trump

After being accused of being a misogynist, based on his comments and actions that have been caught on film and in interviews, president-elect Donald Trump has spurred protests against him, formed by women. Since Trump started his presidential ­­­campaign communities have been concerned that there will be an increase in violence against women when Trump reaches the White House.

Sexist comments made by Trump, who owned the Miss Universe beauty pageant for many years, include calling women pigs, ugly, and making discriminatory ­comments about how maternity leave is a burden for employers. The most brash comment that was revealed was when his mic was left on during a segment of Access Hollywood in which Trump is heard saying that he grabs women and forces himself on them, because he’s a star, and he can do whatever he wants.
