Taylor Swift Sings for the Right

Taylor Swift is a wildly famous singer and songwriter. She became the youngest person to sign with Sony Music. She released her eponymous debut album back in 2006 and her career skyrocketed afterward and doesn’t seem to be landing anytime soon.

Taylor sang at the 2008 Republican National Convention. As far as speaking publicly about politics she told Time in 2012, “I follow [the election], and I try to keep myself as educated and informed as possible. But I don’t talk about politics because it might influence other people. And I don’t think that I know enough in life to be telling people to vote for.”
