Kid Is a Republican at Heart

Robert James Ritchie a.k.a Kid Rock is an American singer and songwriter. Kid is famous for combining country and blues oriented music with rock and rap influences, creating a unique sound all of his own.

In 2012 he performed his song “Born Free” at a Mitt Romney rally, and in 2016 joked about becoming Donald Trump’s Secretary of State. “I am definitely a Republican on fiscal issues and the military, but I lean to the middle on social issues,” Kid said when asked about his republican ties. “I am no fan of abortion, but it’s not up to a man to tell a woman what to do.”
