5 Weird And Naughty Presidential Stories
If the walls of the Oval Office could speak, we’d surely be shocked to hear of all the secret doings they’ve witnessed over the years. Infidelity and scandal surround almost every presidency.
Here are the top five juicy examples of presidential sexual deviance.
5. Ulysses S. Grant
Standing at only 5 feet seven inches tall, President Grant was said to be abnormally queasy at the sight of blood. He couldn’t even tolerate rare steak; his was always well-done.
He was also apparently squeamish about nudity as he was about blood, and is rumored to have been an early member of the Never Nude club (properly called gymnophobia) whose members are stricken with “a general anxiety about sexuality, from a fear that they are physically inferior, or from a fear that their nakedness leaves them exposed and unprotected.”
According to a biography, Grant wouldn’t even shower in front of his soldiers during the war, where no one could reasonably expect privacy, and went to great lengths to remain covered. Late in life, he was said to have boasted that no one had seen him naked since he was a child. He was married twice and fathered five children, so we presume that his wives were exceptions to the no-nudity rule.
