Heart of the Ocean Necklace
Value: $17 Million
If you are a fan of the movie Titanic you’ll recognize this blue diamond; the “Heart of the Ocean” was a large part of the film. It is a perfect example of life imitating art. The necklace from the movie is an iconic prop and was a necklace known as the Coeur de la Mer. If you remember the story, it was Kate Winslet’s character’s gift from her horrible fiancée. In her situation, she had to decide what was more important: to be with DiCaprio’s character or settle for what was expected of her. And we all know how that story ended.

After the film, Harry Winston, a world-renowned jeweler created a replica of the necklace using real jewels. The piece contains a 15-carat blue diamond. You may have seen Gloria Stewart, the actress who played the elderly ‘Rose’ in the film, wore the gorgeous piece to the Oscars.
