Over 50 Years After JFK’s Assassination, Conspiracy Theories Still Carry Weight
Born Into Politics, But Without Pressure
It was 1917 when John F. Kennedy was born into a life of politics. After his career as a businessman, his father Joseph Kennedy Sr. was a politician, as were his grandfathers; P.J. Kennedy on his father’s side and John F. Fitzgerald on his mother’s side of the family. It seemed that he was destined for a political career. While attending Harvard University, JFK studied political philosophy and traveled across Europe, seeing the international political tensions first hand in the days leading up to World War II. He graduated in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts in government and international affairs concentration.
The future president had put himself in a unique position as a highly educated young man, especially focused on the topic of international government, during one of the greatest times of turmoil the world has ever seen.
