Although 52 full documents from the JFK Assassination files were released in October of 2017, President Donald Trump optioned to block the release of others. He cited concerns for national security for the reason he did not want the documents released yet.

Many of the documents that have been released include mentions of the Soviet Union, Russian spies, and the international events and crisis that were going on during the time of the assassination. Surely, the documents could cause old wounds from our nation’s history and foreign affairs to be reopened as the JFK Files make international news.
