Over 50 Years After JFK’s Assassination, Conspiracy Theories Still Carry Weight
50 Years Later Poll Shows Where Americans Stand
The year 2013 marked 50 years since JFK’s assassination. That’s when GALLUP News polled Americans to see where they stood on how many shooters they believed were involved in JFK’s death. The numbers said it all, as 61% of Americans said they still believe Lee Harvey Oswald had help in the act and were not satisfied with the findings of the Warren Commission. This also shows that many Americans who didn’t believe Oswald acted alone from the beginning are strongly holding on to that gut feeling, 50 years later.

Following the assassination the car was impounded for evidence, but following modifications for extra security measures, the limo was placed back into use by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
Americans sat on the edge of their seats as 2,891 documents were released in late October 2017. Here’s what they revealed.
