For kids, the parades on the Fourth of July were a big deal because all you needed was a bike to participate. Also, in these times, having all the kids in the city riding their bikes next to parade floats wasn’t as big a deal as it would be now. Here, the kids in Aurora, Colorado wait patiently for the parade to begin in 1984.
