Andre Braugher does a fantastic job of playing Captain Ray Holt on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and occasionally his character has to answer to his mom. L. Scott Caldwell, the actress who plays Holt’s mom, is only 12 years older than Braugher in real life. That doesn’t make her any less imposing, though.
