This is so devastating for this girl. You just want to yell at her that the light isn’t for the sidewalk. Imagine how hectic walking would be if sidewalks had stop lights. It would benefit slow walkers, which is the opposite of what we should be wanting to do. Slow walkers need to die out with natural selection and lights on sidewalks would slow that progress.
