Have These Brands Gone Too Far On Twitter?
Taco Bell Fires Back
When Procter & Gamble brand Old Spice randomly Tweeted, “Why is it that ‘fire sauce’ isn’t made with any real fire? Seems like false advertising,” they brought up a good point. But Taco Bell is not one to back down when being called out so they replied, “@OldSpice Is your deodorant made with really old spices?” If we were Old Spice, we’d say touché to that.
A lot of people say that Taco Bell’s Fire sauce isn’t even that hot when it’s supposed to be their hottest offering (save for Diablo, which premiered in 2015). Even though it doesn’t quite live up to expectation, many customers stock up on the little packets at every Taco Bell visit. But they wouldn’t need to anymore, ince Taco Bell has started bottling their sauces and selling them in stores since 2014.
