Smart Car Takes It Too Far

Smart Cars are notoriously tiny, making many people wonder if they’re even very safe to drive. One Twitter user made a joke about the size of Smart Cars: “Saw a bird had [expletive] on a Smart Car… Totaled it.”

The hyperbole caught the attention of the official Smart Car Twitter account, who responded with a graphic that proved the Twitter user wrong: “Couldn’t have been one bird, @dtothebone. Sounds more like 4.5 million. (Seriously, we did the math).” Apparently, the people at Smart Car are very smart, indeed. They determined that it would take 4.5 million pigeon poops, over 300 thousand turkey poops, and around 45 thousand emu poops to actually crush a Smart Car.
