Gomer Sings The Soundtrack Of Our Lives

While a novel about the show was great, Jim Nabors wanted something even bigger. In 1965, he released the Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. album, which was his only comedy album in his discography. The 12-track album featured Nabors singing as Gomer Pyle. Some song titles are: “Shazam!” and “You Can’t Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd.”
