Rashida Jones played one of Jim’s romantic interests, Karen Filippelli, on The Office. After her role on The Office ended, Jones worked with Greg Daniels and Michael Schur again on Parks and Recreation when she accepted the role of Leslie Knope’s best friend, nurse Ann Perkins.

Jones also worked as a producer on the documentary Hot Girls Wanted and co-wrote an episode of the sci-fi thriller Black Mirror. Her path led her back to The Office again when she landed the role of police detective Angie Tribeca in the comedy series of the same name. The satire of police procedural shows was created by Steve Carell and Nancy Carell.
