These Female Icons Are Dominating TV Screens Once Again
Then: Keri Russell Was A College Student Trying To Score Her High School Crush
J.J. Abrams may be one of sci-fi’s most coveted producers, but back in the ’90s, he was making TV dramas. He served as executive producer to the college drama Felicity, where he cast Keri Russel as the leading lady, Felicity Porter. The show was so successful during its four-year run that Time Magazine named it one of the 100 Best TV Shows of All Time. Felicity Porter was ranked as Entertainment Weekly’s #24 Greatest Character of the Last 20 Years. Regardless of what the magazines say, Felicity was an iconic character (the curly hair, the naivety), and won Russell a Golden Globe.
