Everything You Need To Know About The 2018 Emmy Award Nominees

Raise your hand if you think Atlanta is going to win an Emmy for best comedy series. Everybody? Ok, sounds about right. Last year, Donald Glover (AKA Childish Gambino) won an Emmy for best actor.

He’s nominated again this year, along with Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz (AKA the most beautiful actress alive), and Katt Williams. Yeah, Katt Williams was a guest actor on Atlanta. I have mixed feelings about this series. I deeply respect its artistry, but I never feel like I need to watch the next episode. Each episode sort of works as a standalone piece. I love anthology series (whattup Black Mirror), but Atlanta isn’t quite an anthology series. I’d be really happy if Atlanta won, but my hopes and dreams are riding on a series a little further down on this list.
