John Krasinski Played A Violent Drug Dealer

John Krasinski is best known for playing Jim Halpert on The Office. But one year before he landed that breakout role, he made a memorable appearance on Law & Order: Criminal Intent in the episode “Mad Hops.” The actor played high school athlete Jace Gleesing, who had a bit of a violent streak and was a drug dealer. Detective Robert Goren investigated Gleesing for his possible involvement in the death of a private investigator. The role is interesting because it’s much different from Krasinki’s happy character on The Office. It proves that he has a lot more range than meets the eye.
