Come July, Netflix Is Giving These Shows And Movies The Boot
Another month means another bundle of content is getting the boot from Netflix's streaming platform. In July 2020, subscribers are going to see a lot of Warner Bros. movies removed from the service, making their way to their new home on HBO Max.
But it's not just the Matrix Trilogy that's going to disappear from the catalog. Every season of the hit sitcom Cheers is also saying goodbye to Netflix. Pretty much what we're saying is get your binge-watching started before June comes to a close!
21
Nothing says "college kid in need of some quick cash" quite like the character of Ben Campbell in the 2008 film 21. Ben is a brilliant mathematician studying at MIT, but when he realizes he doesn't have enough money to pay his tuition, he turns to illegal measures.
Yup, Ben thinks counting cards is a good way to pay his way through college. But, hey, who are we to judge. We're only going to judge you if you don't watch this drama unfold before Netflix takes it down in July.
The Amityville Horror
Ryan Reynolds, a horror story, and possession. What more do you need in one film? The Amityville Horror follows the story of the Lutz family as they move into a new home in Amityville, New York. But they made the mistake of buying an extremely cheap house without asking about the low price.
As it turns out, the previous tenant was possessed by the devil. Uh oh. If you enjoy scary films, you're going to want to watch this one while it's still available on Netflix.
Center Stage
Get ready for drama, rivalry, and a whole lot of dance numbers. Center Stage is something you're not going to want to miss out on watching. Following the story of Jody Sawyer, a ballerina with a boatload of talent but the "wrong body," the film is one of triumph and believing in yourself.
Oh, and did we mention that the costume Jody wears in the end dance number is on point? If you love dancing and a good underdog, then you're going to want to watch this film before Netflix takes it down in July.
Cheers -- 11 Seasons
It's time to say goodbye to Sam Malone, Diane Chambers, Rebecca Howe, and the rest of the regulars who frequent the Boston bar Cheers because all 11 seasons of Cheers are being taken off Netflix in July.
Before the popular sitcom leaves the streaming platform, you're going to want to binge-watch all of the banter, sarcasm, and will-they won't-they situations the show is known for. Trust us; this is one sitcom you're going to love.
The Mask Of Zorro
It's time to turn back time and visit California during the 1840s with The Mask of Zorro. Starring Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Anthony Hopkins, the film follows the legend of Zorro, a masked bandit who takes care of the people.
Long story short, he's a Spanish Robin Hood with a mask. The movie is full of action, adventure, and comical one-liners. Plus, you get to watch a young Banderas take on bad guys, so what's not to like?
All Of The Matrix Movies
Once again, the three Matrix films are getting the boot. This time, they're moving off Netflix to their new home on HBO Max. So, if you have the other service, you shouldn't be too worried about missing a chance to see these films one last time.
If you don't know, the trilogy follows the adventures of Neo, a man who finds out the truth about the computer-run world he lives in. There's also a lot of slow-mo action scenes and a Mr. Smith who likes duplicating.
Blow
Based on a true story, Blow follows the rise and fall of football star turned narcotics importer George Jung. Set in the 1970s, Blow chronicles Jung's life as he becomes the premier importer for Colombia's Medellin cartel.
His "job" would go on to shape an entire generation. Starring a young Johnny Depp, the movie is the story of an antihero who you can't help but sympathize with by the end. Don't believe us? You're just going to have to watch it and see for yourself.

Click stars Adam Sandler as Michael Newman, a dad who wants nothing more than to have more time to spend with his family. Plot twist: he gets a magic time-controlling remote, and everything goes crazy.
Cloverfield
The film Cloverfield is a different type of movie. It follows a group of New York friends as they start the night having a fun going away party. Little do they know that a skyscraper-sized monster is about to descend on the city, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
Using nothing but a hand-held camera to document the events of the night, the friends fight to survive the monster's wrath. Want to see what happens? Well, hurry up because the movie is off Netflix in July.
The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

Well, his principal has made it his mission to catch Ferris on his "day off." Do you think the teen is finally going to get detention? Only one way to find out!
Ghost Rider
Yes, this is Nic Cage. Yes, he is technically part of the MCU. No, no one ever talks about it. But we're about to change that silent conversation. Ghost Rider tells the story of failed motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze.
Now, he's no ordinary person. He sold his soul, leaving him to transform into Ghost Rider at night whenever evil is around. Trust us; you're just going to want to watch this film to get the full experience.
Home Alone
We know, Home Alone is a Christmas movie in a lot of people's minds. But it's always a good time to watch a young boy take out burglars with nothing more than crafty boobytraps laid out around the house.
You really have to hand it to Kevin, he knew exactly what he was doing and probably has a future in engineering of some kind. Anywho, this classic is getting the boot from Netflix in July. So watch it while you can!
Inception
Get ready to enter the dream world with the cast of Inception. This complex movie follows the story of Dom Cobb, a thief with the unique ability to transport into people's dreams and steal information. He's the perfect hire for corporate espionage.

He finds that saying yes is good for his life, getting a girlfriend, promotion, and feeling better about his life. But he finds out that too much of something, such as saying yes all the time, isn't a great thing.
The Polar Express
We know, The Polar Express is a Christmas movie. But that doesn't mean it isn't awesome. It is narrated by Tom Hanks, after all, so that's reason enough to watch it before it gets taken down from the streaming platform in July.
If you're not familiar with the classic tale, allow us to fill you in. The film follows the story of a young boy who is doubting in Santa Claus. And just when he is about to give up hope, he ends up on the adventure of a lifetime.
Minority Report
Loosely based on Philip K. Dick's thriller novel of the same name, Minority Report is a film you're going to want to strap yourself in for. The movie is set in 2054 and follows John Anderton, head of the PreCrime unit.
Now, this unit is unlike anything you've seen before. They use a specific type of technology to arrest and convict future murderers. The only issue is, the chase is on when John is accused of murdering someone he has yet to meet.
Ant-Man And The Wasp
If you haven't seen it yet, you're not going to want to miss your shot at watching the funny MCU film Ant-Man and the Wasp. Follow the adventure of Scott Lang as he makes tough decisions about being part of the Avengers as well as where he stands as a father.
But the choice is kind of made for him when he is thrown back into the game with Hope and Hank Pym. It's a comical adventure that you're going to want to see for yourself.
Incredibles 2
After waiting years for the second Incredibles movie to come out, you best believe you should watch it at least one more time before Netflix takes it off its platform. It's time to suit-up with the Parr family again, but this time it's more girl power than anything.
When Elastigirl is hired to fight crime and make the public fall in love with the supers again, it's up to Mr. Incredible to be the stay-at-home dad. What could go wrong? Especially when a new villain comes into the picture.
