Rock And Roll Groupies Who Were More About The Love Than The Music
Fans of rock n’ roll always reminisce about the “good old days.” A simple time when it was okay to have a carefree lifestyle and nobody seemed to care much about anything outside of music. In this case, most people took that love for music and did whatever they could to be in the life of a musician.
These groupies not only got to be around their favorite rock stars — they got to experience the lifestyle of a rock star’s life. Unfortunately, most of the relationships weren’t all happy endings. Even the stars of Baywatch found love with the rockstars, and so many women were obsessed with the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. Some of this love was for more than the music.

Sable Starr was once known as “Queen of the Groupies.” She ventured into the rock star life before she was 18 and she had quite the list.
Rod Stewart, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant all had a particular affection to Starr. Unfortunately, the Queen lost her battle to brain cancer in 2009.
