If you think Pokémon GO car accidents are bad, it’s even worse when there’s a fatality involved. That’s what happened in Japan in August of 2016. A driver was distracted while playing Pokémon GO and hit two people walking across the crosswalk in an intersection. One person died and the other was injured.
