Musicians Live In Homes You Won’t Believe!
Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch
Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, has one of the most legendary properties on this list. His famous Neverland ranch (the official name is Sycamore Valley Ranch) will go down in history as one of the most talked about homes of a celebrity of all time. Reportedly worth $100 million, Neverland is comprised of about 22 structures over 2,700 acres. The Normandy-style house is around 12,000 square feet.
Michael Jackson bought the ranch in 1987 for $19.5 million and immediately set about turning it into a Peter Pan-inspired amusement park with a 12,000-square foot, six-bedroom mansion as the crown jewel. There was an amusement park with rides and circus animals, but that is all long gone, while the railroad tracks and the train station with a giant clock made of flowers remains. There is also a 50-seat movie theater designed by Jackson.
