Mulder Forever

After starring as FBI Agent Fox Mulder on The X-Files for nine years, David Duchovny found it difficult to land a leading role. He made a few appearances here and there, but nothing very substantial for a number of years. Then in 2007, Duchovny was cast as Hank Moody, the leading role of a sex-crazed writer in the critically acclaimed Showtime series Californication, winning a Golden Globe (and ironically had to be treated for a sex addiction offscreen). Then The X Files was rebooted, and Duchovny returned to the role that made him famous.
