From Drama To Comedy
Alec Baldwin had a string of dramatic, successful, leading roles in a number of major movies throughout the 1980s and early 90s, including
The Hunt For Red October, and
The Shadow. After his messy divorce and vicious custody battle with Kim Basinger in 2002, he stepped out of the limelight but continued to take on supporting roles in a number of lesser-known films. Then in 2006, he was cast as Jack Donaghy on
30 Rock, and proved to the world that he was a master at comedy. He also went on to host
Saturday Night Live a great many times.
