Betty White, who is now 96, became an icon in the 1960s for not only her comedic roles, but for being the first woman to ever produce a TV sitcom. Her fame continued into the 70s with The Mary Tyler More Show, and grew even more in the 80s with Golden Girls. She then disappeared in the 90s, had some brief highlights in the early 2000s, but really made her comeback in 2010 when she nailed a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live. Suddenly she was a beloved star again, and has since made a number of film and TV appearances.
