Derek Shepherd was (and still is) the love of Meredith Grey’s life. These two spent so much time working on their relationship just for Shepherd to be tragically hit by a mack truck.

Many thought that these two lovebirds would last until the end of the series but Patrick Dempsey (Shepherd) felt it was the time he moved on in a different direction with his career. Every Grey’s fan still missed McDreamy.
