Since its release on November 25, 2015, Creed grossed a worldwide total of $173,567,581. Its followup, Creed II, brought home $214,015,889. Since it made that much cash, there is no doubt that a third installment is going to come out. In what will most likely be a trilogy, Creed follows the life of the legendary fictional boxer, Apollo Creed, who was one of Rocky Balboa's fiercest competitors.

Michael B. Jordan does the honors of playing the role of the late boxer, Adonis "Donnie" Creed. Sylvester Stallone reprises his iconic role as an older Balboa who trains up the young fighter. In the first film directed by Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Fruitvale Station), audiences got the chance to see real-life boxer Andre Ward step in the ring against Jordan. He quickly handles the inexperienced scrapper but wasn't the last of their rivalry.

In Creed II, Jordan's character gets a shot at redemption and takes down Ward for the heavyweight title. With such a high profile person appearing in the movies, fans wondered who should pop up in the third movie. One name that's thrown around is Conor McGregor.

"He's awesome. Awesome. I just want to see those [UFC] fighters get more exposure, you know what I mean," director Coogler said when asked about McGregor.

The interviewer asked how he would feel about adding in the UFC star, and his Coogler's response was very open-ended. More recently, TMX caught up with the main attraction and asked the same question. This time the answer was more straight-forward. "Eh, I don't know about that man," Jordan answered the reporter. With a look that was hard to decode but more on the side of "are you really asking me that," it's safe to say that we won't be seeing the Irishman in future films.
