ZZ Top has consisted of Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbons, and Frank Beard. They emerged as one of the top 100 selling artists in the United States, originally starting out as a blues-inspired band.
The group incorporated new wave and punk rock by using synthesizers. In 2004, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
